Name: Caspian "Cas" Gender: Male Sexuality: Straight Age: Unknown but appears to be around 22 Species: Merman Description: Let's start off with the human features. Caspian has tanned skin with a decent amount of muscles. His hair matches his tail, which will be described later, with a dark gray blue shade and is short but curly. His ears are strangely pointy at the top, his tongue is slightly forked, but it also a dark gray shade, and his teeth are slightly pointy. His eyes are a bright gold color and emit a glow when it is dark out. Lastly he has small scars around his torso and arms from fights or accidents he has gotten into, he wears no clothing like features. Now for Caspian's tail. His tail resembles one of a shark with a dorsal fin on the back of it and smooth skin. It is a dark gray blue shade with a slightly yellow under side that fades to the gray blue shade around the edges and a faint reflective pattern on it, similar to that on a tiger shark. Personality: Caspian is a very friendly and adventurous person. He enjoys to watch humans and see how they survive without having a tail. He likes to stick to the darker waters or around large, rocky areas where he hunts for fish. Cas will come up to the surface around dusk then stay up there until almost dawn, since he is aware that humans don't come out that late. He is currently living in a small cove near an island. the entrance is underwater but once you swim upwards it opens up and reveals a spacious cave with bright glowing bioluminescence on the walls in all sorts of colors. Malorie sat close to the bank's edge, The water rushing towards her and then jerking back every few seconds, The only noises she could hear were the gentle waves of the water and seagulls who seemed to fly by often. She dipped her hand in the water, feeling the cold water surge around her hand. "I didn't know it was going to be this cold today" she muttered, taking her hand out of the water to pull out a small notepad that had all her notes and observations down, at some point she was planning to actually go swimming in the water in case some type of new marine species was lurking, Not many divers had been around here, so she suspected so. Grabbing her pen, Malorie wrote down; Week 1, day 4, The seagulls have once again stirred up, their calls echo throughout and I wonder if they are somehow attracted to the beaches. She then sighed, wondering if coming out here was a waste of time, Edited at April 29, 2023 02:31 PM by Savannah Stables

Caspian darted through a pile of underwater rocks. In front of his swam a school of flying fish, one of his favorite type of fish to eat. His tail shifted back and forth quickly as he chased his prey and his arms were close to his side for aerodynamics as he cut through the water. The fish darted upwards towards the surface and he knew that they were planning to escape. He quickly swam after them and reached out and managed to grab three of the fish in his hands. He then quickly turned around before reaching the surface and swam back down to the rocks. The rest of the school of flying fish took off out of the water and glided away to safety. Meanwhile Caspian propped himself up on a small pile of rocks and bit into one of the fish, his sharp teeth easily penetrating the scaly animal. He trapped the other two behind a "cage" of rocks while he held the now dead fish with both hands. The fish was sweet and misty dark red liquid floated out of it as he ate.

As Malorie turned to leave she caught a shadow in the water, Was that a shark? I never knew sharks swam around here... She squinted her eyes, trying to see if there was a shark there, Malorie paused, What am I doing? if there is a shark I need to be prepared in case it tries to attack me... Oh well, I doubt it well, It would beach itself, I guess it's better to be safe than sorry, As he would have said.. She said, Reaching into her pocket and pulling out her dagger, She held it close to her as her eyes scanned the water, Nothing... The shadow had disappeared, Maybe she was just tired and now she was seeing things? Malorie hadn't slept very well the previous night..

Caspian finished the first of the three flying fish and let the skeleton and little bit of scraps float off in a light current. A few scavenger fish swarmed the carcass and he watched them before reaching for the pile where he had trapped the other fish. He snatched one out of there and watched as the other escaped his grasp and swam off. 'Whatever,' he thinks as he chomps into the other fish, 'atleast I can eat two. I'll just have to go hunting later.' The merman finishes this second fish almost twice as fast and lets the scavenger fish take the carcass again.
