Topic Horse RacerxHorse Racer
Plot It's time.
Time for the Grand Prix! Famous stables and horses from all over the world has come to race! For a chance at the Kentucky Derby! Which ends up leading to the great World Prix. The highest and most famous race in the world. Where every horse racer wants to go! Where every horse racer dreams to win. However few ranches and their horses make it past the Derby and the World Prix hasn't been held in many many years. However two ranches have achieved the Grand Prix again and again.
(Ranch A) and (Ranch B)
And everyone knows that either (Person A) of (Ranch A) or (Person B) of (Ranch B) will win the Grand Prix, having the best horses and the best records. The two ranches have been rivals for many many years. Friendly competitors outside the race, but within the race? They are fierce competition. Of course they always laugh and celebrate together afterwards. Showing great sportsmanship between the two stables. Or is it called horsemanship?
However a rumor begins to spread through the race industry.
The two children of the two ranches are racing for the ranches this year. Young (Muse A) of (Ranch A) and young (Muse B) of (Ranch B). The two have new race horses who they have hand trained. And already raced on. The two showing just as much potential as their fathers. So when the rumor is spread, everyone grows excited. Excited to see how the two youngsters live up to their father's legacy. To their father's fame, and if they would have the same sportsmanship as their fathers.
However the two have only participated in junior races, and have never been in a race as big as the Grand Prix. Adding a new thrill to the race as the race industry and their fans try and figure out if the rumor is true. However (Person A) and (Person B) refuse to tell, and make them wait until the day of the race to find out if the two youngsters were racing for the stables. However another questions lingers as well.
Was there a rivalry between the two youngsters?
The answer? Yes.
The two have been rivals just like their father's have been. Despite their father's close friendship, the two have never been close. Never have actually talked to each other. But rather just see each other occasionally at each other's ranches or at a race. But when they end up racing at the Grand Prix together, against each other. They get to know each other more and more. Growing a friendship, then growing even closer. Causing their parents to question. If they like each other.
But when both make it past both the Grand Prix, and the Kentucky Derby onto the World Prix. Not only have they created a new legacy for their family's. But also end up separating each other as they are forced to focus on their training by their parents. Making them rivals once again. However all that melts away when they meet once again at the World Prix. But their close friendship causes an issue. A big issue during the race.
A injury. A terrible terrible injury.
Muse A gets distracted by Muse B during the World Prix, which results in her steed panicking when animals protesters appear and begin throwing things and yelling. Muse A is thrown from her steed into the stands. Causing a few broken bones, and a head concussion. Causing a possible end of her career. Person A blames Person B for his daughter's injury and in turn their friendship is destroyed and Person B drags Muse B away, not letting him see Muse A. Despite their close friendship. As Muse A is sent to a hospital, everyone begins to wonder.
What would happen to the (Family A) and (Family B) friendship? Would Muse A be okay? And would she ever race again?

The sound of screeching tires on gravel jolted Matteo back to reality on what he was doing as he had been driving for so long.. 6 hours to be exact maybe a bit longer due to him hauling a 12 horse trailer behind him. He was tired but relieved they had finally made it to Oklahoma even if it wasn't exactly what he wanted, after backing the trailer to the stable entrance he turned off his truck and climbed out. Matteo made his way toward the back of the sleek trailer, stopping at eachside to undo the latch that held the door in place. After lowering it down he started unloading his mounts, first Blue, then Sprez, next Gio, along Vola, Molly, another pair of hooves that belonged to Moz, neighs from Forte, snorts from Tesimi, flowing mane from Colo and finally the two canines that jumped down from his truck. After settling them each in their stalls, hay nets filled, water buckets to the brim, and oats served he made his way outside to drag out his tack. - The tack room was empty just as his uncle said it would, first the male took his saddles and removed the saddle covers and sat them gently on the saddle stands. He removed each of his bridles from thier individual bags, after making sure every one was ok he set them on hooks. Matteo set to work on his tack trunks, he had three but only focused on one so he didnt disorganize himself. Carefully removing all his boots which he had many of as this was what he called the 'wrap trunk' as its just wraps and boots, he had cubbies and put them in color order before sliding the tack trunk in a spot in the corner. - He knew the next thing was to excerise the horses, he sighed and the olive skinned man made his way down the aisle as he didnt know which one to do first. His footsteps stopped infront of Vola's stall, he bit his lip but slid open the stall door, the mare perked her ears at the 6'2 man but stepped forward. A board smile stretched across his squared face the mare loved to work, he led her out and tied her to the cross ties. Matteo finished tacking up in a matter of minutes but he had to rummage through his tiny tack room in his trailer to find his helment, finally snagging it he half jogged half walked back to his patient mount. Soon the to were warming up in the arena next to the barn, the mare was fresh and ready and enjoyed the Oklahoma air. Edited at May 30, 2022 02:12 PM by Murderous Manor

"Adda boy, Fritz." Came the praise of the girl behind the large Clydesdale gelding. Fritz was currently pulling a wagon filled with all of the dangerous things found in the northern pastures. It was one of the girl's chores, to make sure the empty pastures were clean of any dangers, and that the fences were good, and the animals would be at low risk in the pastures. After all, it was rotation time. The Hunt family typically rotated pastures about every five months, sometimes earlier and sometimes later. They always had about four to five open pastures, and the others were filled with horses, goats, sheeps, mules, and other animals.
"How were the pastures, Ry?" Rylee Hunt leaps down from the wagon, a large black German Shepherd on her heels. "Good, the holes were filled, ponds are clean, fences are sturdy, and all the dangerous items that have blown in are cleared up. We're ready to rotate." Jacob Hunt, Rylee's father, nods,"Good. The rest of the family is ready to go. You got Dynamite ready?" Rylee nods,"I sure do, let me just put the wagon somewhere the wind won't blow everything out and put Fritz up. Then I'll be ready."
It didn't take but ten minutes for Rylee to guide Fritz to one of the large sheds, backing the wagon up, then unhitching the Clydesdale. Then the gelding was led to one of the barns, where the harness and bridle were removed and checked before being hung in the tack room. Then Rylee grooms Fritz and checks his hooves. Fritz plods after Rylee as she leads him into the stall, the German Shepherd on her heels. Once inside, with the halter removed, Rylee throws some hay and oats in as well as refilling the water. "Come on, Hades."
Rylee exits the barn to see the rest of her family waiting. All astride Mustangs, that varied in size and color. Rylee's mother, Diana was on a black Mustang. Jacob was on a white Mustang. Her oldest brother, Draco was on a bay Mustang. Her older brother, Colin was on a brown and bay Mustang. While her twin brother, Daniel was on a grey Mustang. Diana held the reins to Rylee's Mustang, a pinto coated gelding named Dynamite. "You ready?" Rylee takes the reins and swings aboard,"Are you kidding? Of course I'm ready, come on." The family starts out,"Alright, Danny, you know your job."
The first pasture rotation were the brood mares and their foals, they were to be rotated to the closest northern pasture. Daniel veers off to open the gates that led the herd towards that pasture. While the rest of the family entered the pasture. About fifteen large heads pop up, followed by fifteen smaller heads. The family dogs were ready, waiting for their signal. Jacob murmurs,"Come on Danny." Then a few seconds later, a large white flag is seen waving. "Alright, yee-haw!" Rylee rolls her eyes at the old saying, but urges her horse forward alongside the rest of her family.

Vola felt fresh under the man and he knew why, the mare was in a trailer for 4-5 hours. Would have been six but he stopped along to let them strech thier legs, he was daydreaming and shook himself out of it. Gathering his reins in the right position he turned the mare the other way and picked up a trot which the 17.2hh mare gave, after a few laps he patted her and squeezed with both legs into the dapple greys sides and a flowly yet collected canter became of it. - Soon Matteo felt it was safe enough to start jumping but he had to be careful as the mare was very much hard to control around jumps and making sure she didnt jump them dangerously was another big issue so he had to make sure to take it one stride at a time "One jump at a time" he said to the mare. Feeling good he let her stretch out a bit and headed toward a little cross pole to get her started which she over jumped by four strides, he shook his head and turned back towards it once more asking to not overjump it. The mares ears perked and hopped over it. "Good girl" he praised and patted her neck with his olived hand. - After jumping a few meter jumps he headed back inside, he had to deliver Molly to a ranch for his friend who was a stable hand there who wanted to pratice for upcoming rodeos. After dismounting and untacking the sweaty mare he made his way to the palominos stall. Soon the palomino was in traveling gear which was gold and black as well, he loaded the feisty mare. He pulled into a ranch but stopped outside the gate wasnt that the rivalry ranch? He shook his head and kept driving, the black sleek truck and gold and black trailer behind him stopped outside a barn door. He hopped out and made his way to the back.

The lead mare of the brood mare herd takes off, her foal at her side. A few seconds later the rest of the herd follows. There was no panic or stampedes, at least from the adult horses. They had done this plenty of times, however the foals were freaking out. Which is what the dogs were for, to stay close to the foals to keep them with their mother. While the rest of the family spread out in a sort of wing formation to drive the mares toward the northern pasture. It didn't take but five minutes and soon the brood mare herd was grazing peacefully again.
Rylee leans down to pat her horse,"Good boy, Dynamite." The Mustang flanks rise and fall in a steady motion, but the gelding flicks his ears back toward his rider, signaling he was listening. Jacob returns from doing his final check on the pasture,"Alright, let's go move the others." Daniel comes trotting up, white flag wrapped around the pole and tucked against the saddle. "Here you go, Connor." The flag was passed off. The family took turns being a part of the rotation run or being the one who opened the gates and signaled that it was clear.
The gates were closed, and the family moves on. It took about an hour for them to move three more herds. The stallions(Which surprisingly didn't fight much), the yearlings, and the retired bunch. That was all of the horses that stayed in the pastures, now it was time for the other livestock. But first, it was time for a break. Chatting and laughing the Hunt family makes their way back to the barns, in time to see a truck and trailer pull up. Rylee frowns, she was unaware of anyone coming over. However her parents didn't seem to worried.
The family enters the courtyard that was the center of the little circle of barns. They all dismount and change the bridles out for halters, and tie the horses to the fence, spreading them out enough to where they wouldn't be able to kick each other if they got mad. The girths were loosened and water buckets were brought over and hung up for the horses. The boys headed off to feed the horses in the barns. While Rylee follows her parents who were going to greet the man who had climbed out of the truck, Hades on her heels.

The italian man pressed the button on the side to lower the door, it was a new trailer as a welcome gift from his uncle and he loved it very much. After it lowered Matteo walked in to untie the mare from the trailer, Molly sniffed his jacket then his hand then went back to eating from the hay net. He made sure she was ok the untied her and backed her out, her long flowy mane settled on her neck, the tips of it stopping at her knees. The man checked over her once again then turned to lead her to the side of the trailer. - After tying her to the side he took the time to take off the boots to reveal her golden palomino legs, after setting the boots back in the mini tack room her peeled off the blanket and folded it. Soon he put everything away and switched out her trailer halter for the shiney show halter, while securing it to the mares head he heard footsteps approaching. The mares blue eyes and the mans green eyes landed on the family striding towards them, they were afar still so he took out the mares saddle and placed it on the saddle stand, he brushed his hands free of dirt then walked toward them.
