Yes zebra finches are great. They aren't really tame able if hand raised sometimes they might perch on your finger so if you looking for one to hold not reccommended

I did find out that ground lamb doesnt affect me at all which is amazing because its so good! I get the organic kind though so maybe thats why lol

I think two finches wouldn't be bad. I have 4 and they were the first type of birds I got when I was 9. Very easy to manage and pretty quiet

...the problems I had were mostly with the old trainer who is now fired (thank god) but like. It pays super well- the barn owner splits lesson fees 50/50 so with 2-4 kids in a lesson you make around $45 an hour.
but the whole place is a train wreck.
pastures are run down, 30ish horses on 5 acres, not great footing, bargain bin lesson horses that are in generally not very good shape.
