For contest, a lot of them were first or second generation american and their first name tended to be from their culture. Most of 'em went by a different name and preferred to be called that
There's nothing wrong with someone changing their name. I knew a lot of people in pharmacy school who changed their first name to something easier to pronounce

Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
