I agree with Max. Every church and just religion in general have their issues as well as their good points. In Australia, we have had several issues in recent years concerning a certain priest who took shelter at the Vatican and only got extradited back to Australia after the government put a heap of pressure on the situation. It all started in my hometown/regional city too
Max Do you think every single person in those shady parishes is shady? Because I will confirm they are indeed not, and many of them are just trying their best going with the motions unaware. One must be alert
I know all the news stuff, I know its shit because the church is still run by humans weaher they try to follow God or not, my only point was someone said churches are culty and I said "nah hold my beer time to discuss this generalization"
You say most, the majority? If there's 350,000 churches in the US (the most conservative estimate I can find, most say more), and only 5% of those are shady that's still 17,500 churches doing something awful. That's enough to be wary of them in general
