There are places and times to discipline a horse, but to automatically resort to hitting or punching them every time they do something "wrong" is abusive and after having been through that situation I am sensitive to it.

My mustang was beat numerous times by his previous owners. He has so much trauma but he is living out his last years with us and wont have to deal with that again
The old gelding I used to ride before he passed would stop and freeze if you yelled hey. He had a lot of respect for people even kids. The old mare would suddenly be deaf and when you tried to walk her away or in a circle she'd huff and throw a little bitchy fit. It was annoying but also funny.
That happened with my the horse I was leasing. He was afraid of the bridle after sustaining an injury and my trainer smacked and punched him into submission until he accepted it.
I just don't believe in smacking a horse a horse to force them to do something they don't understand or are afraid of. For example, beating a horse a horse that is scared of the bridle into submission.
It really depends on the horse. Oklahoma? All I have to do is make a noise and she knows she's not supposed to be doing something. Denali will just stare at you like you're stupid and keep doing whatever it is she's doing
A smack to a horse's nose is similar to a flick on a dog's ear... Does it sting? Probably. Is the animal far better off never doing the behaviour again? Absolutely. A small sting is better than perpetual misbehaviour
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
