I agree with Max. Every church and just religion in general have their issues as well as their good points. In Australia, we have had several issues in recent years concerning a certain priest who took shelter at the Vatican and only got extradited back to Australia after the government put a heap of pressure on the situation. It all started in my hometown/regional city too
Max Do you think every single person in those shady parishes is shady? Because I will confirm they are indeed not, and many of them are just trying their best going with the motions unaware. One must be alert

You say most, the majority? If there's 350,000 churches in the US (the most conservative estimate I can find, most say more), and only 5% of those are shady that's still 17,500 churches doing something awful. That's enough to be wary of them in general
It's extremely naive to say there's no Christian church's that operate like a cult. There's countless news stories proving it year after year. I have no issue with Christianity in general but saying that all churchs are perfect and completely above board makes no sense
But a vast majority of it isn't sweet, and if only a little portion of the population make it sweet but everyone calls ALL mac cheese sweet, thats still wrong, because a vast majority of mac cheese isn't sweet
Max Also I agree, no one should have to be baptized and I never said I had a problem w/ Void not getting baptized, I just didn't like the word culty being used because it is way overused in situations where it doesn't belong

You shouldn't be forced into *anything* faith based. That's extremely toxic regardless of belief system. However my religion emphasizes free will and doing no harm so I'm a bit more intense about it. If being baptized is something you want that's great but you shouldn't have to be worn down until you reluctantly do it.
I think I am lucky that I don't go to church... until my partner and I are able to find a Greek Orthodox church as myelf and out two kids need to get baptized (long story)
