Yeah. Heating pads specifically aren't recommended because they heat unevenly as well; snake could be too cold on one end and burn their other end. I wouldn't use one unless you have a very good thermostat/regulator
are snakes slow or mentally challenged etc does god just not like them why did they evolve to not be able to tell when theyre too hot that seems a little stupid
Snakes are cold-blooded so they can't regulate their own temperatures. Many will stay on the mat/heat rock not noticing that they're burning because it feels fine to them. Lots of pictures of snakes with severe burns on their underbellies because of it
i think the snake needs to learn its lesson the hard way back in my day if you burnt yourslef on a heat mat they didnt give you your ringworm rat for the week
Nope but I have a friend who owns BPs. She's always told me that heat mats are dangerous because if they're even a little bit off the snake could burn itself, snakes aren't great at realizing that they're too hot and will burn themselves on mats/under-tank heaters
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
