Revel, They MUST be purchased at least two, or they get depressed. As long as it's no more than two, no, they aren't crazy loud. They're a singing type bird. They don't squawk like full blown parrots, nor copy voices and/or other sounds
We had nasty ones. Didnt matter how much we held them and socialized with them they drew blood. They are also super duper loud and super messy. Thats just my experience with them
Ally, Huh. Usually tiels are the sweet ones. I have three rescues within my home at the moment, and all of them just want cuddles. Except Zulu, he just wants to sing and sit on my shoulder lol
Revel, It'll depend on how social you want to be with it. :) If you want to pick it up and interact lots, definitely cockatiels will be your go-to. But if money will be an issue, go with budgies or canaries. They're fine either way, lots of interaction or just simply lots of toys and treats within a large cage.
Revel, My first bird was my Green Cheek Conure baby. She was a gift from the lady I interned with. But I'd say in terms of "super simple" care, I'd go with budgies. They DO need more than one, but they're smaller, bite less hard, and are less expensive than a cockatiel- who also need to be purchased in pairs.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
