sounds great then, im excited to restart after so long! <3 one thing that could be really good is more drama. Not sure how this would happen but maybe one of them goes out with somebody else and theres jealousy involved, or something

allrighty, cool! ill just start kinda refresh it a bit with just a normal day at the yard in the morning. it will be winter time, if thats OK! - Sam walked into the barn, his breath coming out in foggy clouds, and his hands freezing in their woolen mittens. With a satysfying crunch, the thin layer of ice broke on Nero's water bucket as Sam cracked it with his boot. He was greatful for the thermal coat he was wearing, otherwise he thought he might die, it was so cold outside. Taking Nero out of his cosy stable, he took him to the washbays to get ready for a quick ride. After he had taken off all 3 of Nero's rugs, he groomed him and quickly put on all his tack, making sure to include an exercise sheet so his horse wouldnt catch a chill. grabbing his hat, he shoved it on, glad for the extra warmth it provided to his frosty ears. Once they were inside the slightly warmer indoor arena, he hopped on and warmed Nero up. Just as they had finished some polework, he heard familliar footsteps walking up to the gate. "hey, Ellie." he said, bringing Nero to a walk.

Ellie lingered around the barn, making small steps on the grass as it let out a satisfying crackle. She loved winter truly, the scenery, the holidays, and more than anything burrowing into a bunch of blankets with a hot chocolate and a good movie. But the truth was that she was one hundred percent procrastinating her work. Her hands were already numb, and the end of her nose and cheeks had gone rosy. She had on a thick raincoat and white bobble hat, along with gloves and a scarf, yet the chill was still managing to get to her. She probably would have stayed home if it wasn't for her horses and one person in particular. "Hey, Ellie." He called as Ellie started to make her way towards the indoor school to greet him. "Morning, Mister." She offered a small smile,as she poked her head through the sliding door of the arena, it had just become a natural reaction now, when ever she saw Sam, she involentairily smiled. Her warm breath turned into a small puff of cloud. "You got anything planned for today?" Edited at January 8, 2022 02:01 AM by Belle

"nah, not really." Sam said, hopping off Nero and leading him towards the gate. "although a nice warm coffee shop and a hot chocolate sound quite apealing currently." he laughed a little as he stomped his feet to try and get some of the warmth back in to them. "what about you, any plans today?" (sorry short)

Ellie opened the gate for Sam and Nero, following along next to them once she had closed the gate behind them. "Mmmm, yeah. Whipped cream and marshmallows on top!" Ellie added as if she were already thinking about a hot chocolate. "Not really... Was planning to lunge my two, that's all." Ellie noted with a small huff. "So, if you're willing, we could probably go get that hot chocolate in a warm coffee shop later on?" She asked with a slightly tilted head.

"sure, wounds like a Plan. I know a dog friendly cafe in town so maybe we could take Ella with us?" he said, listening to the melodic sound of hooves hitting the stone. They arrived at the yard, where he untacked and groomed Nero, put his rugs on and popped him back in his warm, cosy stable with a haynet and some feed. "i need to go have a shower, so why don't you lunge your horses and then when we're done, we can go out?" he said to Ellie, putting his saddle and bridle back in their spaces in thr tack room.
