"nah im good for the rock, the fence is my new thing. far mor fashionable than a lain rock, dont you think?" he asked, offering her a lopsided smile."you go sort your moody mare out then. good luck, youll need it to keep her in check." he said, and thought about the icy mare. tricky. he thought, contemplating on how to help Elie and her mae overcome their difficulties. he was stumped for now but he would think of something. "see you later, alligator."

Ellie raised her hand into a wave as she walked off, a smile in her eyes, but no longer on her face. She arrived at Frosts stable, the mare munching down on some hay, that seemed to have managed to get all in her mane. Ellie shook her head before going to grab her tack quietly, then dumping it on the stable door. "You gonna be good today, ma'am?" She she questioned the mare before slipping through the stable door to brush her down, then plopping her heavy tack on her back.

Sam sat on the fence for a while longer, watching horses grazing on the green rass in distant pastures. ding. he got a notification from his phone. hey Sam, wanna come with us to that pizza place on the highstreet tonight? bring any friends. a message from his good friends, he would go. woud Ellie want to to come though? Sam wasnt really sure it would be her thing, but he decided to invite her anyway. "Ellie?" he called out. "wanna come to this pizza thing tonight with some friends?"

Ellie had only just stated to walk her fiery mare out when she heard he name being called again, shortly followed by and invitation. "Pizza thing?" She repeated with a small laugh, "Yeah, what time? Where?" She questioned as she started to make her way to the arena. She used then fence to get on as always, then started to walk around on a loose rein, trying to become relaxed again.

(Alright!) While Ellie wasn't too sure about going to a pizza place with people she had never met, she also really wanted pizza... And it should be nice to meet some new people. She had the same fitted group since she was 10, so change would be nice. She pushed the mare up into trot then canter, slowly working her way up the paces, then tried to fit in some shapes. Frost was strangely good, but it put a smile on her face. Once she was done, she untacked and turned out before making her way to her little living quarters to become somewhat presentable.

"see you there then! ont worry, my friends are cool." Sam said, walking to his rooms. he changed, had a quick shower and dressed into jeans and a shirt. he walked out into the warm summer breeze, feeling the heat of the evening sun tingle on his fingertips. he called his friends, and they came round the corner in a jeep 10 minutes later. "Suzie, Jake, Will!" he shoute in greeting. "long time no see, how are you guys?" he questioned, hopping into the jeep. "ive got a fiend, Ellie, coming with me, she should be here in a minute." he grinned as his friends bumped fists and hugged him in greeting.

Ellie popped her head out the door after getting a shower and a change of clothes, a pair of dark jeans and a loose dark green t-shirt, then putting her hair back in her signature plait, though it was a lot neater that normal. "Hey!" She dragged out with a grin. She wasn't really a conversational person but she could make an effort when needed. She made her way to Sams side curiously, looking his friends up and down before speaking up lightly, "Oh, um, I'm Ellie." She noted swiftly, offering a small wave. Her friends never really invited her to stuff anymore, they always just assumed she was busy with her horses, which she was, but she still enjoyed going out every now and then.

"New Orleans, originally, but my family and I only moved her because of mothers work." She shrugged swiftly. That was partly the truth. She had moved because of her late fathers passing, but chose not to make of conversation about that, so took the high rode. "We moved around six years ago, but I'm still not very familiar with the area." She chuckled quietly. She spent far too much time at the yard. She pretty much lived there full time, so never really bothered to go out.
