Sam shrugged lightly and turned his head to the driveway. "any clean stalls are good stalls!" he joked, grinning and thinking it might be nice to get some help around here, plus have another friend. "does he ride english or western?" he questioned, but he didt really care about that kind of thing any longer.

"Both," She said simply with a curt nod, "But he obviously prefers western," She teased, rolling her eyes ever so slightly. She wasn't still on that, but she could still joke about it. "But yes, more free time for me. God knows what I'd do with it though." She shrugged, tilting her head a little in thought.

"ppppft no chance." sam joked, laughing again. "yeah i dont even know what to o with my current freetime, let alone more." he said, thinking. "i mean theres only so much sitting on sunny rocks and reading on fences can do, right?" he said."what do you even do in your free time?" he asked, pondering over the subject

"I..." She paused, her brows furrowing slightly in thought, "Uhm, I either sit in the field with the horses, or go for a run." She shrugged, realizing how boring that was. "I don't get out much." She grumbled, wrinkling her nose a little. She looked down, a little embarrassed by her lack of activities.

"yeah doesnt sound exactly fun.." Sam said. "anyway maybe this Aaron guy wil find us stuff to do, sounds like a fun person" Said Sam. "I know what i could do." Said sam, joking. "go for a nice, long walk!" and he pointed to his cut, grinning. "just kiddinng, just kidding, i dont think ill ever do that again" Sam said.

Ellies face went dark when he said he would go for a walk, then shook her had when he said we wouldn't do, "No, no, you go for your walks, and you can hobble around, spilling blood everywhere, but I won't be there to save you... Keep that in mind." She joked darkly before rolling her eyes. She changed the subject after a moment, gesturing to the cut, "Have you been taking pain killers for it, or are you alright?" She questioned, tiling her head in a curious manner.

Sam snorted. "i took a painkiller this morning and i think it helped, but it isnt too bad i dont think. at least its not dirty or infected." Sam said, touching the outline of the cuut trough his shirt. it was red an inflamed, but had almost stopped bleeding so that was a very good thing.

"Good, good. Have you iced it? It might help ease anymore pain." She questioned, though it had turned into a suggestion. While she didn't have the most caring nature, she did put a lot of effort into trying to be nice. Even if it was just a little. "But its good it's not bleeding as much now." She shrugged lightly.
"no i havent tried icing it." Sam said. "but its worth a try." Sam began to feel bored. "argh what do i do? ive done all my chores, finished doing nero, cleaned tack" (sorry its short im in a lesson)

(Totally fine! c:) "You could.... Uh...." She tilted her head and used a stable wall to lean against. "You shouldn't really be doing very much. But you could go out for the day, I guess. I mean, you can't stay here all the time, can you?" She asked lightly before vanishing into the feed room to make up some buckets for the school horses.
