(no worries!) Sam finished his chorse, then made sure his horase was happy and injury free in the nearby paddock. he heard a slight commotion in one of the arenas, and went to have a look, it was getting late, and he yawned as he walked. Sam was slightly shocked at the sight of Ellie standing helplessly in the middle of the arena, Frost galloping around happily, rope trailing behind her.

There was no point chasing her, she would just start going faster, and Ellie didn't want Frost to get caught up in the lunge line. She turned her head to see Sam. She felt a hot blush of embarrassment spread across her cheeks when he saw the look of surprise upon his face, "No, don't look at me like that!" She said, trying to sound firm but it din't quite work. She had to look away, watching the mare as she started to slow, but never once stopped.

Sam pulled his face back into seriousness, and withdrew a carrotstick from his pocket. he hel it out calmly, and the mare moved towards it, only to shy away again, galloping back across the arena. sam tried this multiple times after, until finally the mare sniffed his hand, reared up and tried to gallop away, but sam had grabbed the lunde rope like lightning, and was calming the mare down. "woaaah there, little lady." he said soothingly to the frisky mare. he walked over and handed the mare to Ellie. "try this." he said, and made a claw out of his hand, directing his arm towards the mare. this was a technique his old trainer had tought him, using positive reinforcement, you make a claw out of a hand and the horse thinks it is a threat, therefore moving around on the lunge, soon to realise the clawe hand is not a threat, an you give the horse a treat or a scratch every 5 times round the lunge. Sam said as much to Ellie, and showed her how it works. "hopefully that helps." he said, handing her a couple apple chunks from his pocket for her to use with Frost. he then ducked out of the Arena and watched quietly for a little while.

Ellie gave him a nod, taking the mares lead and walking her back out to the middle of the arena, giving Sams method a go. At first, it didn't really work, but as they got along, the mare finally stated to walk nicely on the lunge, only she still threw some shapes and pulled a little. You couldn't expect the world out of a horse like her though, could you? Either way, it put a smile on Ellies face. Though, the sun had started to set, and she would have to stop soon. After a while, she did just that, pulling Frost into her a scratching her neck softly, "Not so bad, huh?" She questioned the mare softly, rolling the lunge up and making her way towards the gate, "That was very useful, thank you for that," She said with a small smile and a nod, starting to walk into the stables and taking all the lunge gear off the little mare, then walking her horse out to pasture. Ellie watched her for a moment as she bolted across the field in pure joy, going to going Astra at a hay bale.

"no worries, good night!" Sam said, striding away to go get Nero in from the paddock. He clipped on the lead rope and walked him into his stable, where he took his light fly rug off, and gave him food, hay and water. he stroked his copper gold coat for a while, befor scratching his forehead and leaving him to eat. Back i his accomodation, ha showered ad a quick dinner, read for a while and prmtly fell asleep, preparing himself for the early wakeup tomorrow morning.

"Night," She replied lightly, watching the horses for another few minutes, then making her way towards the small cabins so she could relax a little. She skipped her dinner and went to get a shower and ready to sleep. But she just sat in bed for a while, thinking of the events of the day, eventually falling into a sleep filled with all things nice.

Sam woke up, feeling refreshed. He dressed in his usual yard clothes, and headed out to the yard at the normal time of 5AM. he fed, groomed, watered, and patted Nero, before mucking out 3 stables and sweeping he yard until the concrete practically glistened in the late summer sun. He decided to take a little break today, and just do some training with Nero. Whilst his horse ate, He sat on the fence, smiling in the sunshine, his golden hair becoming shiny in the sun.

Ellie woke up... Late. Really, really late. 9:00am. Shit. Was her first thought, jumping out of bed and getting dressed as fast as lightning, then dashing out of her living quarters and making her way to the barn, still tying her hair up. She paused to look at the whiteboard, where her jobs where written up. Ellie- muck out: Ruin, Splash and River. Was written up right at the bottom. "Come on," She hissed to herself, going to find some tools to start up on the stables with, mucking out, then making up feed for her own two horses who were standing at the gate hungerly. Sam finished the rest of his chores, and walked into the yard to see Ellie, flustered and unkempt, rushing to feed her horses. "i was wondering where you were, slept in?" Sam sai with a hint of sarcasm, but he also felt compassion for the poor girl. "here, let me help." Sam said and did half of Ruin's stable for her, avoiding the angry ponies bites and kicks. he finished the job and came out, quick as a flash. "hope that helps you get a wiggle on."

"No, I chose to come down late." Ellie grumbled, an almost angry and sarcastic look in her eyes. It was somewhat clear she didn't mean for her words to come out the way it did, but she was also very tired. She was surprised when Sam offered his help, but nodded and took it graciously. "Thank you." She breathed, her voice still heavy from sleep. She finished off the rest of the horses and put her equipment away, then going to get her own horses bedding ready for the evening.
