Im nervous too, but I want to redeem myself from last RO |
Kiwi Mountains |
Theres loads of homing pigeons in my area, except some have decided to start their own little colony in huge trees across from where I live. |
Hobo Queens Farm |
Yeah, the homing lines get super depressed if they get lost and people are always finding them hungry, thirsty and messed up waiting in their yard for attention. It's very sad. I feel sick if one of my birds doesn't come home. They are awful peaceful and defenseless. |
Kiwi Mountains |
I love that the US just has pet pigeons you can adopt from entire organisations dedicated to re-homing pigeons as pets. I wish we had something like that where I am. |
Glacier Bay Cove |
Maybe during my next breeding session, I'll get some color AD horses |
Gem Queens Estate |
@hobo Ah OK. I read somewhere they lay less eggs if you fake egg them? |
Gem Queens Estate |
Also, if you drove across time, what dimension were you in?! hehehe! |
Hobo Queens Farm |
You can just take their eggs, they don't mind. They can take on the fake ones, like other birds, but I've never had one get depressed if I toss their eggs. They just lay more in a few weeks. |
ghost light stables |
Drove 30 minutes across time to watch a demolition derby...they cancelled it yesterday and didn't tell anyone so us and a bunch of other people where just sitting in the parking lot wondering what the hell was going on |
Gem Queens Estate |
@hobo Ack! And OK. But I'm not getting a pet any time soon, me thinks. Can you replace their eggs with fake ones, for about 2 weeks? |
Gem Queens Estate |
What I find interesting about pigeons, is that most feral (wild born) that get into a pigeon loft/home and taken care... that they take to people well. Unless they were harmed by a person, then it takes work. |
