I was so heartbroken when a super pretty apricot colt from my WWE boy turned out to be PEP, I was hoping he would be at least EEE to breed to my apricot/pearl colour mares.
Valhalla Acreage
03:29:39 Eivor
Nope its a TB and SH
Santana Rising
03:29:14 San
with how much chestnut and pearl is in the RID gene pool I would have expected the first WWW apri to be from there
Valhalla Acreage
03:28:58 Eivor
Wait there is 2 WWW Apricots and one is a TB can I cry now?
Valhalla Acreage
03:28:05 Eivor
Not going to lie that is my dream a WWW Apricot AA
Ravenwood Farm
03:27:57
Yeee, but oh how amazing wouldn't that be!
Valhalla Acreage
03:27:39 Eivor
I think it was peg who bred the first WWW Apricot that I have seen
Valhalla Acreage
03:27:11 Eivor
That's gonna be lucky if he is a W in bravery
Ravenwood Farm
03:26:53
Yep, thats the one!
Santana Rising
03:26:14 San
-HEE Click- Raven, was it him?
Valhalla Acreage
03:25:26 Eivor
And with just 1 its a needle in a hay stack
Valhalla Acreage
03:24:56 Eivor
Yeah but bravery is so random
Santana Rising
03:24:44 San
I got straws from the WWW-W boy for this month to take 2 embryos from my wild WEE-W mare. But I won't be using them this month, just store them for later.
Ravenwood Farm
03:24:24
I watched him, I'll look for him now
Ravenwood Farm
03:23:36
I think someone bred a WWW colt this month with brave potential!
Ashcroft Park Stud
03:23:15 Ash
Random, but Burghley eventing dressage starts in about 20 minutes for anyone watching or following results online!
Santana Rising
03:21:39 San
Yeah, I also don't think anyone has ever bred a WWW-W, those we had so far were all captured, since bravery is too much of a niche. Looking Glass has bred an EWW-W boy now, but she had captured a WWW-W before and managed to breed some nice mares with him whom she then bred to someone else's captured WWW-W My braveries wouldn't have been so well rated either if it wasn't for the EWW-W I caught - and he is only for the good girls as well. The rare coloured braves I'm still glad if they are SSS
Ravenwood Farm
03:19:59
But it would probably take A LOT of wild mares. I have been doing AD+B for months and have bred like 1 EEE-W so far
Ravenwood Farm
03:18:29
Kern that is an extremely ambitious goal and would definitely take years if its even realistically achievable at all. But I would start by capturing a lot of mares with maps on capture day, and hope for lots of EEE+ with E or W bravery, and work from there. SH or ISH would be the easiest breeds by far
Valhalla Acreage
03:16:25 Eivor
At least my new boy is in every way perfect so far
