Dobes I imagine are even harder because they're a guardian breed. I can't even imagine what that could do to the breed's reputation

Yeahhh it absolutely ruins not just the poor dog's health but their reputation too. I've had a lot of people (including my obedience instructor and even a few rally judges) say that my husky is surprisingly polite because she doesn't bite. I'm like, what huskies have you been meeting that they make you think huskies are biters? Huskies shouldn't bite. They should be aloof but never aggressive or even have a guarding instinct at all. I loathe what doodle breeders have done to the reputation of poodles lol

We were die-hard Dobe people, before they skyrocketed in popularity. Then watched it fall, as you say, mostly due to the backyard breeders. (mutters, a curse on them all)

Ooo you breed Dobermans Vecc? Dobes are so gorgeous. Next time I visit a show I'll be watching the Dobes do their breed show to get some pictures haha. If there's an altered Dobe entered I'll be competing against them

Green means they placed well enough to make a profit and have not levelled up yet, so yes re-enter those ones. The numbers are their discipline and level (D5 means "dressage level 5"). and then it's the date in M/D format (so 5/1 is May 1st), and then their placement (so 2 is second place)
Guard Horseman Gang
Question for anyone who has used the easy show enter page what do the green boxes mean? Are those the shows I should enter? And what do the numbers mean next to the displine level? For example on one of my horses it's says D5 5/1-2

Sibes have definitely been getting less popular and entries have gone way down. The last show I went to at the end of March only had 8 entries for huskies. Poodles had the most if I'm remembering correctly

It's also just the showing community too, at least here. I'm young for a show handler (I'm in my 20s) and most other handlers I meet are in their 50s+, and a lot of them are very guarded about showing and don't like having more competition even if it means their dogs get more points if they place. I'm not too unhappy with Sibes becoming less popular if I'm being honest, either. They're so commonly backyard/irresponsibly bred that I think becoming less popular might actually do them some good in the long run
Vecchia Modo
Unfortunately, as breeds popularity falls, so do the owners/handlers interest in showing them. Seen it go like that many times.

Aww thank you!! I'm super excited for her, she seems ready. Last time I took her to a handling class she was perfect. Now whether or not she'll be perfect in an arena with an audience is the question LOL

I'm really hoping my dog can get some confo points in August in her show. Huskies don't get as many entries as they used to though so there just might not be enough other dogs

lol, It didn't out that way, she just reacted and she chose it. To look at me she likes the word hey, lol. I have no idea why, but she gets happy when I say it.

I use focus too but for me "focus" is asking my dog for direct eye contact
