Bird, Mix it. It does it to Sketti, too, when I do purely wet food. |

Sometimes I give my cats meow mix dry cat food. They get one spoonful of wet cat food three times a day and the rest of the day they have dry cat food to snack on, when they get hungry |

Although... If you swap purely to dry, *please* check the ingredients thoroughly. Too much rice/soy/whatever fillers when cats are obligate carnivores is horrible for them. Blue Buffalo is a major example. |
Snitches' Stitches |
Wet food is generally good for cats because it usually helps keep them thinner than dry and increases their liquid intake which helps keep thier kidneys healthy |

i fed my very first cat i owned years ago blue buffalo and she got super sick that was right around when they were getting sued for the all the shit with not being truthful about their ingredients and everything plus all the filler and shit thats in it, I will never touch them again |

Can you just add water to the dry for extra hydration if the dry is working. |

Bird, It's possible he's getting too much hydration altogether. That was a big thing while I was helping to raise some cats. |

@Glacier, no his dry food isn't giving him the runs. Just the wet food. |

Blue Buffalo is a big no go from me. I've been looking to swap to Catit after my vet was suggesting it over and over. Sketti LOVES it. But I still put some wet food in with it because he goes ballistic for that. |
