corn is basically empty calories, where pea can provide some protein (fun fact: some veggie meats are made from pea protein) |

Sasha- There are "capture an appaloosa" capture tokens you can buy from the store. These work on Irish Sport Horse, Sport Horse, and Sport Pony. Knabstruppers are also Lp gene carriers who will have the spotty coats. |
Valhalla Acreage |
Sash you could get lucky in the beach but better off using a appalosa capture pass |

@Versa, I think Finley is pretty good about drinking water thankfully. |
Versailles |
Finding a food without SOME kind of filler, is dang near impossible. But there are foods that keep it to a minimum. The reason I prefer a wet diet is because it maintains more nutrients since it's not... you know... dried out and cooked to death. And hydration. But I keep a small amount of kibble for teeth health and plaque. Plus brushing... as much as he hates it, lol. |
The Old Gods |
But pro plan likes shoving in veggies and cheese of all fuckin' things |
Sunset River Arabian |
Hummer true but corn isnt really digestible. Peas are more so |
It's A Cinch |
uhm... does anyone know where the best appaloosa coat colors are found in horses? like where can they be captured? |

Corn is a higher likelihood of being an allergen. It's a literal filler while most of the stuff in Nulo's is designed as a binder |
Hummingbird Meadows |
That's my issue with people complaining about fillers. Peas and chickpeas are as much a filler as corn in my opinion. |
The Old Gods |
Nulo indoor. Has plant stuff in it, unfortunately, but it's very hard to find non-grain foods that don't |
The Old Gods |
I briefly fed it when Niles was still alive and there was maybe 4 flavors that didn't have garbage in it. |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Snitch, that's the probiotic I did a 30 day trial with. I also bought another 30 days, but like I said I haven't seen much improvement. |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Versa, you thinking sound logical. I might try putting him back on the friskies and see what happens. |
