@Versa, what wet food do you feed?
Hummingbird Meadows
05:30:03 Bird
@Versa, I think Finley is pretty good about drinking water thankfully.

Finding a food without SOME kind of filler, is dang near impossible. But there are foods that keep it to a minimum. The reason I prefer a wet diet is because it maintains more nutrients since it's not... you know... dried out and cooked to death. And hydration. But I keep a small amount of kibble for teeth health and plaque. Plus brushing... as much as he hates it, lol.

uhm... does anyone know where the best appaloosa coat colors are found in horses? like where can they be captured?
The Old Gods

Corn is a higher likelihood of being an allergen. It's a literal filler while most of the stuff in Nulo's is designed as a binder
Hummingbird Meadows
05:27:02 Bird
That's my issue with people complaining about fillers. Peas and chickpeas are as much a filler as corn in my opinion.

Nulo indoor. Has plant stuff in it, unfortunately, but it's very hard to find non-grain foods that don't
The Old Gods

I briefly fed it when Niles was still alive and there was maybe 4 flavors that didn't have garbage in it.
Hummingbird Meadows
05:25:16 Bird
@Old gods, do you feed dry?

pro plan sucks. They add in a bunch of crap cats don't need
Hummingbird Meadows

@Snitch, that's the probiotic I did a 30 day trial with. I also bought another 30 days, but like I said I haven't seen much improvement.

@Versa, you thinking sound logical. I might try putting him back on the friskies and see what happens.

FortaFlora also isn't a great probiotic. Proviable-forte is better, with about 10 billion colonies per capsule compared to 100 million
Versailles
05:21:33 Versa
That's why I'm thinking it's a hydration thing. It's usually very similar ingredients, so like... Ehhh?

But again. All you can do is try switching. AFTER going back to the original and weaning.
