Year 204 summary It was the year of the WWE combo filly over here! Here are the highlights: 2 WWW colts; Ashcroft Symphony and Ashcroft Centurion. Both by my own stallions. 6 WWE combo fillies, including some real shinies I’m excited about. Introducing: Ashcroft Alyssa - one step closer to producing a WWW dun. Really pleased with her. 
Ashcroft Taliah - a Tesoro granddaughter with the genetics to produce apricot. Ashcroft Silverfae - she caught all the shine from her parents - splash, creme, tobiano, silver and pearl. Also finally had a win with my wild bay project with the beautiful Ashcroft Goldenfae. 
I’m also unexpectedly pleased with her sire, Ashcroft Silfren. His genetics are EE, so he can’t produce a chestnut. This has proved very useful for wild bays, and he’s been a great improver on my (very mixed bag of) wild bay mares this year. Overall a decent year. I’m stoked that some of my keepers have my lines on both sides of their pedigree. Still trying to get a nice daughter out of Ashcroft Eos, so fingers crossed for next month. She debuted quite high on the ABLB and I didn’t think it would be such a struggle. Used 4 Svens this month, which produced 2 EEE’s and 2 WWE combos. |

Year 205 summary I bred 5 WWW fillies this month: Ashcroft Solara, by Solaris out of Ashcroft Eos. At birth she moved her dam from not on the ABLB to 65. 
Finally another WWW from Ashcroft Aphrodite, I’m over the moon with her daughter Ashcroft Aurora! 
Ashcroft Zen, by my own Ashcroft Enrai and out of Ashcroft Zelda. Enjoying this cross and pleased to have a filly from it to continue Zelda’s line. She has stunning heterochromatic eyes and carries pearl. 
A pair of lovely surprises in Ashcroft Vesta and Ashcroft Azure. Both are fully homebred and Vesta is chestnut carrying pearl, so excited for some red-based foals from her - my stable has lots of bay! Had a few nice colour wins too, including: Ashcroft Wildrain (wild bay), Ashcroft Rivendell (grey EWW), Ashcroft Wildmagic (wild bay, pearl, splash and more) and Ashcroft Celestia (grey e prl). Ashcroft Kismet debuted #16 AALB, and I’m so happy that Ashcroft Eos is back on the ABLB. Used two Svens this month, which produced a WWW and an EEE. |
