Name: Sage Acker Age: 20 years Appearance: Long black hair that ends at around his waist, normally done in a simple, battle ready style. His eyes are a golden amber color, and his skin is a dark tan (he's from an island down south, so it's naturally a slightly darker shade than the area they're in now). He has some scars on his back from various punishments from his time serving his kingdoms army, as well as a scar on his right cheek from a dagger years ago. He has various tattoos as well, along with plenty of piercings (mainly his ears, but he does have a lip ring in the center of his lower lip as well). His build is slim but athletic, and while he's fairly short (about 5’3”) he can hold his own in a fight. He normally wears a simple tunic with combat styled pants and boots. Personality: Sage is pretty cautious/untrusting, and outwardly he shows the traits drilled into him by the army - cold, uncaring, and ready to brawl. He doesn't really fight back against his superiors, but the anger and sarcasim are a coping mechanism in tough situations. He's fairly quick to anger, though over the years he's learned to control his temper well and keep a good poker face. He is extremely loyal, so once someone earns his trust, he becomes quite attached. Other: Sage is part of the military of the kingdom he resides in. He was raised in the barracks there and has been trained pretty much since birth to fight the supernatural creatures of the neighboring kingdom. |

Name: Vileren Wolfstone Nicknames: Vile, Vi, Age: 23 but she says shes 307 because she finds it funny to gaslight humans into thinking elves are a super long lived species. Appearance: Vileren's skin is a fair white from the limited sun in the northern kingdom. In typical elfish fashion her ashy blonde hair reached down to her mid thighs, which is most often put up in some form of a braided style. Vileren is fully blind in her right eye, a clean scar running over that eye from up past her eyebrow to where it is equal with the end of her nose. In her left eye she is partially blind yet she refuses to tell anyone so there is no way of a weakness of hers spreading into the human rights group of elves or the human kingdom in general. Due to being an elf she is on the taller side for humans as she is 6'2, and while humans may consider it tall, for elves it is usually considered an average height. Her clothing usually fluxuates between formal elven gowns, armoured dragon leather hunting gear, and a full set of armour. Rarely is she ever seen in something diffrent due to how seriously Vile takes her public appearances. Personality: Vile can truley be quite a vile person, she has little regard for the emotions or feelings of anyone or anything that doesn't directly benefit her. She is quiet and rather reserved about her true feelings only really saying things she knows the person shes talking to wants to hear, or what would sway their opinion in favour of her. Whenever she has the option Vileren would much rather sit and observe how people react when they don't think shes looking instead of talking at large formal events. Vileren is quite charistmatic, having perfected the art of swaying nearly anyones opinion back to what she wants them to believe. Magic: Vileren has the ability to feel and see magical distruptions through her blind eye, a result of her eye taking in excess magic constantly as it continues to try and heal her vision, making the only thing she can see out of that eye being globs of magic. She also has a siren like ability to weave exactly what someone wishes to hear into her words, helping her to sway opinions easier, learn secrets, and gain someones favour with little to no work. Other: Vileren has 4 siblings to which she is the second oldest. She often uses dragons for combat and has a pet kelpie named Merkith who she often uses to make someone whos a threat to her disapear. |

(I am so sorry I have been busy and I wasnt feeling well for a bit I did not mean to ghost you) Vile watched over the crowded ballroom from her spot standing in front of the royal thrones, watching the hundreds of elves below chatter and converse. The human servents were scurrying around, some carrying food drinks, cleaning messes, or just following the elf who owns them around. It was loud in the ballroom but not as loud as youd expect a room with voer 300 celebrating elves in it, it was probably the competitive nature of the elves keeping the volume more reasonable. Afterall they both had at least 70 human sevants running around and representatives of the southern court here, both of which are known to be loud and reckless at parties. Vile was wearing a wolf fur trimmed dragon leather hunting suit that looked just elegant enough to be the outfit of her returning party. Usually she would be in the back corners watching over everything but when the party is centered around your return after a month long dragon hunt its hard to stay out of the limelight. Many of the lower class elves were using this celebration as a way to attempt to gain her favour, often through gifts that she had no need for, gold, silver, weapons she'd never use, armour that would never be up to par with her current armour, and with it all she braced it with a smile and a few snide remarks. Yet many of the noble elves hadnt given gifts themselves yet, wanting to wait until all the commoners were done to show up what they could afford, and secretely Vileren was a little exctied to what the rich had to offer her. |

(it's all good lol, I totally get it!) Sage thought the whole party was a bit....extreme. There were too many people, and it was too loud, and everyone was focused on one thing - power. For someone like him, who was on the lower end of the social class even among the other servants working at the event, that meant he was getting all the worst aspect of it shoved into his face. Sure, no one could act out too much, but that didn't stop anyone from snapping at him, or tossing a drink they didn't like onto him. He'd even already gotten slapped by some rich old elf who looked like she'd been twice divorced and was on the hunt for another rich man to take money from and leave. He couldn't do much about it though, and he knew better than to disobey or leave, so he simply continued to scurry around the room with glasses of wine and various platters of food as people wanted them. The elves were all tall, and thought they owned the world - which, they kind of did. The small amount of humans within the mix were certainly owned by the elves. He didn't like it, but that's how it worked. His attention occasionally drifted towards the female elf up nearer to the tables at the front of the room. He didn't know her personally, but of course he knew who she was. After all she was the reason for this damned event. He just wanted it to be over, so he could finally get some rest. The servants were usually overworked, but they had been overworked in comparison to the normal. He was exhausted, skin a shade or two lighter than normal and a light sheen of sweat sticking the ends of his hair to his head as he worked. He just had to remind himself it wouldnt last forever. He just had to make it through the event. Then he could get at least a few hours of sleep. That was all he had to do - get through the night. |

Vile just waited for the chance to get away from the relentless gifts for a second, wanting some form of drink to get her through the endless night of elves pathetically trying to gain her favour just in case she inheritted the throne. After almost an hour of standing around pretending she cared about these elven folk she managed to get away. Almost instantly she approached the first human who looked to be serving drinks. He had tanned skin, which made her think he was probably an imported human servant from down south, long black hair that was done up in a hairstyle neater than most humans. Vile found it a little weird he was allowed to keep his long hair yet for now she kept it to herself. For a moment Vile just looked over him, noticing the scars, quite usual for a human servant, tattoos and peircings that proved to her he was free for awhile, no human servant just gets tattoos and peircings without punishment. He wasn't nessicarily bad looking, looking better than the average human yet that was something Vileren would never admit. "What kind of drinks do they have here?" She finally asked after she finsihed assesing the less than ugly human servant. |

The time seemed to fly by and pass slowly all at the same time as Sage rushed about, carefully moving to hand out whatever it was he grabbed from the kitchen. Sometimes it was drinks, other times light snacks. Whatever it was, the royals and nobles grabbed them quickly, leaving him with many more trips back and forth from the kitchens to the larger room than he would have liked. He hadn't noticed Vile watching him - many of the elves in the room eyed him from time to time, since he stood out among the other servants milling about the room. He was clearly not born into this life, and he was clearly born miles away from here. So, her sharp glance meant nothing to him, and the prickle along his spine telling him he was being watched was nothing new. He'd felt that all night. So, when she finally spoke up from behind him, he had to calm the startle that sparked in his chest, shifting smoothly so as to turn more towards her direction. He didn't meet her gaze, as that was definitely not proper for a servant to do, but he did need to face her to answer. "I've got the red wine, my lady," he noted. "There's white wine and a few juices as well as water being brought around also," he added, since she had asked what was around. While speaking, he kept his tone carefully neutral, not wanting to wind up in any kind of trouble after this - he was already exhausted, and the night was far from being done. He didn't need more work after, or any injuries from a punishment. |

"Well those are some terrible options give me a glass of the red. Also whats with all the metal in your face? Is that some sort of new punishment? Some weird human fad they let you keep?" Vile asked the human, her gaze honing in on his peircings trying to figure out if it was something humans liked or if it was a new punishment. She didnt often keep up with anything human. They were weird creatures, with weird habits, and such primitive ways of doing things. The drink options sucked today, she'd take that up with the planner after the celebration. No matter how badly the drinks sucked Vile wouldn't take it out on the servant, it wasn't the humans fault. Humans weren't smart enough to plan a celebration. Even suggesting humans could be capable of planning this terrible celebration was way too big of a compliment than any human deserved in her eyes. |

Sage winced slightly when the elf seemed upset with the drink options. Luckily, she didn't get angry or blow it out of proportion - though he had a feeling whichever elf planned this whole event would get a tongue lashing later. That was how things went, he supposed. He shifted to hand her a glass off of the tray he was carefully balancing on one hand, full of glasses with the deep red liquid inside of them. He handed her one, blinking slightly when she mentioned the piercings, his free hand moving to finger one of the earrings he was wearing. "Uh...they're decorative, my lady," he noted after a moment. He really wasn't entirely sure what to say about them. The truth of the matter was that they were one part of his morning routine that was the same as before he was forced into this life. The one part that still allowed him to feel somewhat like...well, him, as opposed to what the elves all saw. When one was around a lie for so long, it tended to become like a truth. The piercings were the one thread he was still hanging on to. "It's the same as a necklace or bracelet, of fancy piece of armor," he added after a moment or so. |
