Croft - do you have an average winning ebs amount per level you cull at? I can't imagine how I would keep track of who was making money before they leveled and who wasnt
Hy Brasil
07:42:47 Croft
by the time they are lvl 9 they are solid lol
Hy Brasil
07:42:27 Croft
I cull my geldings as they level, ones that level up before placing well get FR
Legacy Elm

I see where you’re combining from, Swanky.
There is a trade off though as Croft is noting. You’re spending more on an entry to make more when they place high.

but if they place well it is worth it

I don’t like showing lvl 9 geldings even if they win… it’s expensive to show them.

1-7 is when they are in the money.
If you toggle your barn view to showing, you'll be able to see who has been earning you money because the date will be green, and who hasn't
Tamarack Mountain

I don’t know what happened…if it really, like REALLY happened. What did happen? I still ask myself that question. Was this my life? Or was I thrusted into some kind of twilight zone…the life I was meant to have? All I know is that I don’t want to go back…if there was a way to go back… or would it be going forward?

I opened my eyes to…the most beautiful, warm sunlight pouring through a tree so big and green that it could have come from another world (maybe it is another world). I blinked several times. I remember feeling tired, but I don’t remember that I feel a sleep…in a meadow! I stood up and looked around me. Luch green grass that reached close to my knees swayed gently, choosing to yield to the warm, summer breeze that swept over it from the East. Daises, bluebells, dandelions, and flowers that I was sure I had never seen before dotted the field like jewels in a woman’s hair. I stepped out from under my tree and moved towards the center of the field. I don’t know why I did that, but something was drawing me.

I listened. Birds were singing. Their tune…it had…WORDS! I could hear voices! But I couldn’t make out what those words were, they were barely audible and if I had to describe it, I would say it sounded like a woman’s voice speaking in hushed tones. In stead of feeling afraid, I felt like those sounds were familiar. The shock wore off fas,t and I began to question myself why I had thought I’d never heard those song birds before…hadn’t I grown up with them my whole life? Hadn’t those very same birds been at my window everyone morning to wake me up and get me ready for…for what? Ugh! Why is my mind blank? Where is my home? Do I even have a home?

I finally arrived in the center of the meadow. There, in the ground, more like embedded in the ground, was a strange stone, cut flat and smoothed with an odd figure in the middle. I bent down and for an instant, I felt like I know what that figure was…or who it was. As my fingers began to pass over the rock, I felt a tingle in them and when I placed my hand in the center, something amazing took place! The stone came to life! It began to glow and hum! At first it was faint and the light dim. I didn’t back away. I didn’t remove my hand. I felt glued to the stone. The light grew brighter and the sound louder! The wind picked up and the clouds began to gather, then I saw it. Up on a cliff not too far from the edge of the meadow was a creature, strong, powerful. A horse like none that had ever walked the face of Earth. It was fierce and its main was long and was picked up by the wind. Its color was black as coal dust and its eyes…we locked eyes and a spark ignited between us and set a clump of bushes near by on fire. It spiffed and spit and when the flames grew, the horse let out a piercing call and rose on its hind legs.

I stood as still as if I too were made of stone; stooped over and hand on the rock. I couldn’t move.
