I'll find some (that aren't blogs lol) and send them your way 🤣 Allegro is right though, it's irregular dun markings that are a somatic mutation. There are some that are so extreme they are mistaken for brindle... I'm not sure if some of our dun markings could be considered skewed or not... roans and greys can also be skewed I believe.

Thought, KNN exclusive appaloosa patterns. KNN is limited in the patterns they can have since it is appaloosa only. How about some appaloosa patterns you can only find on KNN to give them some diversity of their own?

I'd be extremely sad if only KNN got new appy patterns... I desperately want more for my SH lines (where appy is becoming prevalent on the LBs) and my color PON lines (that are all starting to look the same) and it seems like other do too :')

I'm not saying going forward ONLY KNN would only get new appaloosa patterns. I'm just suggesting a set of KNN exclusive patterns as they have significantly less patterns available than any other breed. There could still be potential for new appaloosa patterns for any other breed who can have them. Edited at February 7, 2026 01:24 PM by Jericho Stables

I know that's what you meant, Jeri. And I'm being greedy and saying if KNN get them can we just add them to the other appy breeds too? XD - I would resent KNN if they got special appy patterns that I couldn't get my hands on for my color babies LOL
