I'd like to see more tobi patterns! I feel like a lot of my tobis look almost the same.

Oh god, champagne and pearl. The bane of my RID existence. I consciously avoid good stallions with it because it is notoriously difficult to breed out. Riverchase Castle said: Can we get some eye-friendly variants of gold champagne? The shade we currently have is very harsh, and I hear many players call it unpleasant names.

I like any colors but I feel some are more common then others and when you want a new pattern there hard to get and since where on the subject what about solid colored coats you know horses with no external markings that can be seen?
I feel those are getting harder and harder to get by breeding no matter what breed you have I feel like solid colors are being phased out or less common if you want to breed one or buy one you cant or find them or its getting really hard to do I think solid colored coats should have been a choice those need love more then the rest and we need less sabino and roan I love roan sabino and tobino to but when you breed them more often then not it gets boring im not bashing the game as some of you call it just saying what ive seen through searching and breeding.
I hope we can get this fixed because when you get the same colors all the time or there not interesting or different breeding for color is not very fun you know what I mean?. Edited at January 30, 2026 04:59 PM by LOVING VELVET RANCH

How do we choose!
More speficially though; Some more Minimal marked patterns; - Minimal Frame markings. Small splotches in the mid-neck and belly area.
- Minimal Tobi, Maybe some more spotty, leg markings in different combos? even just 1 or two legs with some small whither markings or a white face. A entirely white tail.
- Splash White, Can we add the waterfall tail? and the Bald-eagle line Splash, which is a touch Sabino-looking.
- More Leopard Clusters
Suggestions for Loud patterns; - More Rabicano please, some extreme Coon tail and possible also the under-pit markings that is common for loud Rabicano horses.
- Here is a link to some photos of a local, imported mare. She is the LOUDEST Rabicano I have ever seen.

- Max Whites, common in HZ horses for Splash or Sabino. Sometimes fully white, sometimes almost fully white with a few coloured hairs on thier forelock/tail
NEW/Existing colour pattern/phenotype Suggestions: - Gulastra Plume
- Mosaic
- Prophet’s thumbprint - Not a colour, bur would be cool!
- Reverse Dapple - An add on to the already existing Dapple
- Minimal Brindling - Brindle, but more subtle?
- Random Birthmarks
- Mushroom - The horses are born in pale beige and as they mature, the coloration may remain or may dissipate.

There's the same chance of breeding a pattern for every horse. If you breed a heterozygous pattern to a solid colour, there's a 50% chance that pattern will pass on. If you bred a homozygous pattern to a solid colour, there's a 100% chance the pattern will pass on. This is the same as real life equine genetics, so it won't be changed Edited at January 31, 2026 11:38 AM by Sagebrush

Back again to ask if there's anything that can be done about how patterns spawn (see my post on the first page). I've been working on color breeding today and I keep getting the same tobiano with some variation of frost appy. All four of these have been bred in the last hour or so. Is this just a me problem or do other color breeders have this issue? I feel like every year there is some specific combo of patterns that keep appearing on my foals, making them all look the same. There are some variants of tobi and splash that I haven't even seen yet this year in my color foals... so why do I keep getting the same ones? It's quite frustrating. This is all to say that more ToTo, SplSpl, and LpLp patterns would be amazing ^-^ . Edited at February 2, 2026 09:45 PM by Idle Lane Farms
