Would you like the currently random special genetics a horse can have (vitiligo, gulastra plume, birdcatcher, manchado, etc) be inheritable (as in a slightly higher chance if a parent has it). It would not be a guarantee, but just a higher chance. So then these special genetic anomalies can potentially run in bloodlines. I would support a SLIGHT increase in the chance of rare features passing on

Same here, if the chance increases too much I feel like it might take away some of the novelty/excitement of getting the rare mutations

It's a tough balance to strike because you don't want to take away the "special"ness of rare traits, but if they're something people want to breed for specifically it would be helpful to give more than a completely random chance.

I think a smaller chance then regular genes passing would be great! It could also help the market by boosting the value of horses with said traits!

I also agree with a slight chance. Stormsong Manor said: I would support a SLIGHT increase in the chance of rare features passing on

If in favor when would this gene passing come into effect?

Please! Rare traits not being inheritable has never made sense to me, I'd love this! I love love love rare traits (like brindle, for example) & it would be nice to actively breed for them instead of just hoping I come across one!

Especially since there's a quest for brindle. Most of us who actively participate in questing skip this one. Verdant Hills said: Please!
