One of my friends said she uses pellets and she doesn't have litter everywhere so I may also give it a shot just to see

I thought about using the pelleted litter. I may try it

I am honestly kind of tempted to use some kind of pellet like pellets used in horse stalls but again he is kind of picky when it comes to his litter

Yeah some cats dont like them. Im glad mine do lol I hate having litter everywhere

I even have a mat outside the litterbox but it doesn't help. The only thing I found that helps if putting shredded paper ontop of the litter but then it makes it harder to clean

It was one with out I think he just doesn't like the covered ones and he just prefers uncovered ones which I guess just means I will be always picking up litter because he gets zoomies after he uses it

I have to bave a covered litterbox because one of my cats doesn't squat when he pees so he will pee all over the wall lol.

My cats do that too. There will be more litter all over the laundryroom floor than in the litterbox .-.

My cat is so damn messy. He literally gets litter everywhere same with his dry food and it is going to make me go insane. He was literally playing in his freshly cleaned litter box so it was literally all over the bathroom

It sounds like it could be the start of rainrot, AKA rain scald. Hair comes out in little clumps, leaving tiny bald spots...If so, antifungal wash will do wonders for it.

@ Kawasaki - No, looks nothing like that. I just noticed a few small (like dime size) spots here and there. The only products I use I've been using for months without issue, so I don't think it is that.

I went and gave him a bath today (just with Ivory and scrubbed good with a glove) and honestly, he looks fine LOL. I think I was just being paranoid and/or he really needed a bath. Here's the handsome - he's starting to get dark!!!

I was also able to get a poo sample to the vet to have a fecal egg count done. His count was at 525 and the vet recommended either Ivermectin or Strongid, then either Ivermectin or Quest after the first frost (Nov/Dec). We'll do another fecal in spring and go from there. ^_^

Their skin can do weird things when their coats are shifting. My guy was clipped in July and he has an almost bald butt waiting for his summer coat to come through, he looks funny!

We use betadine scrub (like what the vet uses, but a sudsing form) for a lot of skin issues. Clears them right up and leaves ponies soft and shiny! He is such a pretty boy.

I wouldnÂ’t worry too much, as said above their skin can go funky when transitioning coats. YouÂ’re obviously keeping on top of his care and grooming so if there was anything to worry about, IÂ’m sure you would notice straight away.

You could look into linseed for shine, I swear by it. Can get oil or seed, make sure itÂ’s actully cooked in some way cos otherwise itÂ’s poisonous. I used to feed micronised linseed with SpeediBeet and you would not believe the condition of my mareÂ’s skin and coat after about two weeks.

By the way, he looks freaking amazing, youÂ’ve done a fantastic job on him!!
