I do! I've been doing it with my gelding for about 3-4ish years now and I trained him how to be ridden that way so feel free to message me with any questions!

I think youre talking about bareback? If yes, I definitely recommend it, it can be a little bit scary in the beginning, but its great for improving your seat and has giving me a lot of confidence when im in the saddle If your mare hasnt done it before, I think having another equestrian there to watch incase things go awry

Free riding is bareback without a bridle

I kind of do! Right now, I still have to use a bridle, but that's because I'm using one of my newer mares that's not fully leg trained. The goal is to have her bridle-less by the end of the year. :) If you have any questions, feel free to pm me!

I ride bareback like this as well, she is and older mare and never learned leg yielding? I don't know why and the owner don't either. If you have questions let me know :D
