Croft - do you have an average winning ebs amount per level you cull at? I can't imagine how I would keep track of who was making money before they leveled and who wasnt

I see where you’re combining from, Swanky.
There is a trade off though as Croft is noting. You’re spending more on an entry to make more when they place high.

but if they place well it is worth it

I don’t like showing lvl 9 geldings even if they win… it’s expensive to show them.

If you toggle your barn view to showing, you'll be able to see who has been earning you money because the date will be green, and who hasn't

Would love y'all's opinion on what you have done to combat sweet itch, the new mare is extremely hypersensitive to insect bites and her poor legs, chest and stomach are eaten up so bad.
so far we've started her on Anihist but would love some other options

Oklahoma is prone to that. I've managed to keep it largely under control with a mineral block that has sulfur in it and giving her ground flax seed (4 oz per day). Sulfur can help prevent the bugs from biting. Flax seed has omega 3s in it which not only helps the coat/hooves, but it can act as an anti inflammatory. Prior to starting the flax seed, Oklahoma's neck and shoulders were basically covered in hives. After two or three days of being on it, there was already a pretty noticable difference and she wasn't trying to itch herself as badly.

Seconding the flax seed. We've got a couple who have some issues with it and the flax has made a huge difference

To get it under control, a medicated shampoo bath (i get one with a steroid prescribed by the vet) once a week helps a lot. Then skin so soft wiped around the sensitive areas to keep the bugs off and help soothe the skin.

Shadow struggles with Sweet Itch on her back and withers. I've been bathing her with Anti-Itch shampoo, the ones with Oatmeal and Antihistamines are best.
You can give her Evening Primrose Oil in their morning feeds. Buying a Sweet Itch rug is also a good idea, i use the Lemiux Kudos rug. Avoid turning it in the dawn and dusk as that is where the bugs are most active.
