Also not having wk4 and such tracked makes him difficult to match if you do want to make the effort

He was bred mostly to EWE combo mares this year. Like Munn said he would probably do better with stronger mares as he will just keep producing average if he's only bred to EWE

That's what I am curios about I think I had purchased a horse f4om that breeder before and ended up doing better with better mares. I am going to retrack the training as well so hopefully that will give insight

It's really hard to say, as only 2 weeks of his training were tracked.
Not impressed by his foals either, as most rated EEE.
However, he could do ok with really good mares.

I know he was bred mostly to EEE mares so I'm wondering if breeding him to EWE mares next year will produce better results

Ok, does he mostly produce foals that end up being good breeders or do they mostly end up being not so good out of his overall foal crop

That's completely random. You can get bad sires out of a good stud and good sires out of a bad stud.

So i have brought on a new 4yo Warmblood mare for a while now,but im having trouble with her bit issues.

She is currently on a French Link Snaffle and she is reacting really weirdly to it like she will roll it around, chew it and loads of other stuff and im a lilttle bit worried.
I have trained horses for 8yrs now and this has never happened to any of the horses i have trained or owned.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on the bit choices
xx

I love this snaffle for horses that show any problems with bits

It is a D-ring snaffle with a copper roll and I recommended it to a lot of people who had problems with their horses, snaffle wise ;)

Well, not sure if you would be open to it, but you could always train her bitless, depending on the training that you are doing. I know that I have a thoroughbred that used to do anything he could to resist bits, so I rode him bitless for about two years, but of coarse I was training him in western and english pleasure. I decided that I wanted to try jumping with him after the two years, and I wanted to use the bit again. So, I slowly re-introduced him to the bit, and I have a lot less problems with him having the bit now.

Just and idea. Some disciplines don't allow you to go bitless in the arena, but if you can do bitless, you could try it.

I'm assuming you've gotten her teeth floated recently? Sometimes that can be the problem, especially with younger horses who need floating every 6mos.

Have you tried a bosal or a rubber mouthed bit? :)
