Hello! I bought the first horse I actually own a few month back, very end of March. She's a two year old Percheron/ Quarter horse (I like em big). I named her Ryan because at the time, her owner didn't tell me her name, I learned her name the day I picked her up basically so her name is Ryan.
I don't know her mother or fathers coat colours, all I know is Dad is a Percheron, mom is a Quarter Horse.
At the time, Ryan's coat looked to be buckskin. I didn't think much of it because hey, I just bought my own horse. Her coat was SUPER fluffy.
Now that it's august, she's all shedded out and BEAUTIFUL, I have no idea what her coat colour is. I've thought some sort of buckskin, maybe black buckskin or burnt buckskin but I'm still unsure. I could use some more opinions

Thank you for reading, and I do plan to get her tested eventually but i don't have the funds for it at the moment. She has to get her vaccines soon so I might ask them to throw in a gene test as well if possible.

Pretty girl. From your pictures, she looks like a sooty buckskin to me.

My initial thought was bay but the more pics I looked at I also lean to sooty buckskin shes very cute <3

She is a buckskin :) Her genetics would be one of the following combinations without knowing parents colours.

Sooty is an untestable gene IRL, and is only sooty if she continues to get darker with age, otherwise just a very pretty buckskin!
