Post length doesn't indicate how long someone's been writing.

They write less and the quality will be lower?

I wish things were changed to indicate general post length. It'd help people find partners.

Ally its because some people use the terms "semi-literate" and "literate" to indicate how much writing there is in a RP (I believe? I dont personally partake) which always confused me as I hadnt realised thats what they meant 🤣🤣
Alsike Equestrian

Any turnout blanket recommendations for large chested horses? My mare is is short and stocky with a massive chest lol I always have trouble this time of year trying to find her blankets for the winter. She does have a medium weight turnout that fits her well and a stable sheet that fits her. I am really looking for a rain sheet, the one she has now fits her but not her chest lol She wears a 72". Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
pictures of Zoey and her large chest LOL

Only blanket that fits her

I don't have any personal recommendations - but can give you some things to check out:

Smartpak has a great exchange program and guarantee for blankets - usually has good sales and deals going on.

I've heard amazing things about Weatherbeta and and having rugged horses daily - they're easy to put on and clean.

Schneiders blanket catalog has a nice description of what style of blankets fit types of horses (high wither, stock build, thoroughbred, etc.)

Other places to check out for good deals:
Stateline Tack
Horseloverz.com

With the winter season coming - blanket deals might be harder to find (summer clearances are mostly happening now), so if you find a brand/style, I would definitely recommend shopping around to find the best price.

The best place to shop - your local tack store. Supporting local businesses that support horseback riding is a great way to say thank you. Many local places sponsor shows and riding experiences - so if you participate in something sponsored, the best way to say thank you is to buy from them (even if it's the small stuff).

I love Schneider's stormshield blankets, they've always held up really well and are very adjustable. They come in a few durability levels and fill levels.
