Okay, I live on a ranch and I have a nice big barn that was used for pigs and cattle before we bought it. I own 5 horses two of which are old and need to have shelter since I live in northern alberta and it gets extremly cold in the winters however the floor of my barn is cement and I cannot risk any injuries when trying to get my boys into their stalls which I have spread shavings in. Although i hate the idea of horses on cement and pavement I need them to be warm when the wind kicks in so they do not lose weight. Any tips or hacks to make the cement less slippery and safer?
