Just have to share because this horse makes me so proud!! <3 Romeo is my old competition "pony", I took him through his first ever baby green rounds, and he took me through my last international derbies and 3'6 ammy rounds. Needless to say, this horse has been with me through a lot over the years. I've since stepped away from riding as I've taken up a new position at work. I plan to get back into riding once I find a property where I can keep my horses at home with me. Since I stepped away, and couldn't bear the thought of selling him, I ended up free leasing Romeo to a therapeutic riding academy back in September of 2025. He passed through their training and has quickly become a fan favorite at their barn!! Because of his size, many of the therapy patients that haven't been able to ride in years (all of the big horses at the therapy barn have since retired to only groundwork exercises) are finally able to participate in riding sessions again! Over the past 3 months they hosted a fundraiser where people could vote for royalty of the barn. Romeo ended up as King of the barn <3 This horse has not only done so much for me, but now is impacting the lives of so many others. Truly worth his weight in gold (and that would be a solid 1600lbs lmao)
