They are both gene tested: Dam: Ee AA Sire: Ee aa Ccr Lp Foal could be: Bay, Buckskin, Chestnut, Palomino all with or without appaloosa characteristics Sire has a spotty bum but not PATN1 gene) Last cover date: April 13th Day 320 ("full term"): Feb 27th Day 340 ("Due Date"): March 19th Sooo lets get into the pool: Sex: Color: Date of Birth: Winner can recieve 500k/brood/straws. Mainly this is just for funsies. |

Oooohhh my mare is due May 1st with a bay or bay roan baby! So exciting daydreaming about what they have baking in there haha. I am going to guess: Sex: Filly Color: Bay DOB: 3/23/26 (If my math is right that should be day 344) |

Average gestation for a mare is 340 days, however they can go as early as 320 or as late as 400 safely. Nothing like being on foal watch for two months lol.

Sorry, made an assumption. I'll include it in the main post. Yes day 320 (feb 27th) is "viable" day 340 is the "due date" (March 19th) |

My theory: (If the Mare is younger, I think Colt. If the Mare is older, I think Mare.) Speckled "pink and grey" skin, most visible around the muzzle, eyes, and genitals. (Vertical light and dark stripes on the hoof walls. Maybe....) The foal might be born a solid color (like a dark Bay). I have not bred any real horses, so this is my uncertain guess.
