I've finally gotten into art again and so I'd like to create an art shop but I've got no clue what tier I should join or how much to charge. Any advice would be greatly appreciated <3 Here is my latest artwork :) also see my avatar and banner for examples Edited at March 10, 2026 01:16 PM by Red Hill Hollow

More examples would be great so we can see the consistency of your work! :)

Ok! That's the only piece I have atm so I'll have to do some more. It's ok though, always looking for an excuse to make more art :) could you give me a rough estimate just based on the work I've provided in the meantime? :) Idle Lane Farms said: More examples would be great so we can see the consistency of your work! :)

I would say high tier 3/low tier 2 based on that one piece. You're really solid with your body prep, the piece is pretty cohesive between the horse and the background, and the markings are nicely done. Where it loses some points for me is the quality of the piece is a tad grainy especially in the detailed areas like the face, the horse could be grounded a bit better, there isn't much "wow" factor [part of which might just be you going for a more realistic look, which can be hard to execute cleanly], the hair could use a bit more work [but has fantastic depth!], and the lighting/shading/highlights could use a bit of work. Choosing a background with such strong lighting has implications for how the horse is lit that aren't quite carried out in the piece. But overall lovely work!
