I LOVE this! The perspective and lighting is awesome!! To me, the eye seems a little too big which makes it seem slightly less realistic, but if that's the look you were going for, then I love it! The tail almost seems flat to me. Maybe mess with a bit of a darker color and add super fine strands? Also, don't be afraid to add more flyaways to the tail! Give it some movement! Other than that, I think this is great!

First time doing body prep, as you can see it's a WIP. Mane, lighting and stuff aren't finished, critique on eye + prep please <3

If say, at first glance, the nostril needs to be shaded as it looks far to light inside the nose. Also the legs need more shading and highlighting <3 I can see nothing wrong from the eye but I can give you a short tutorial if you want to use it so draw the black by from the eye +new layer Chose a color maybe 20° to the right on the colorwhell, if the color you WANT the eye to be Now out 100% force base and draw a nearly full circle with a gap in the middle for the pupil Alpha lock Pick the color you WANT the eye to be but a bit lighter Remove alpha lock Gaussian blur 2-3px(preferance) +new clipping layer ,on 'add' Pick a very light yellow(but now a whitish yellow if you know what I mean?) Gaussian blur it to any level you wany, set that layer to maybe 15-40% opacity +new 'add' Put a small for of very light(nearly white) blue Gaussian blur 2-7 of depending on what you want

I'm currently working on a piece and I just want to know what all it is I can fix before I continue on! It's going to be a jellyfish horse if your wondering! Other than that rip it to shreds please that's how I improve! Edit* I put the new background in and added the jellies! Edited at June 9, 2020 12:27 AM by Spirtasi Whims

That hair is looking awesome! My recommendation for you would be to actually put the horse in a setting of some sort, whether that be among more jellyfish or just in the ocean. Having it on just a solid color background (I feel) takes away from the overall effect. Good luck!

Thanks Gem I usually work on my horses on solid backgrounds to make sure I get the hair right as well as getting all the original background out.
