You could do one of those 'unicorn' tails with like the tuft of hair on the end.

@Cat I absolutely love the angle you took this piece from. Super unique. The mane and tail look nice and realistic. What stood out to me was the unrealism of the blood and the arrows. I think this could be improved by creating shadows from the arrows on the horse. For the blood, I would try playing around with different shades of crimson based on how close it is to the actual wound <3

Gorgeous artwork ladybird! i love the fin on the face i think id add a bit more detail work with shading around the muzzle/jaw area just to make it look a bit less muddy and more clear the eyes are a bit small so id look into some tutorials about eyes i love the part where the horse is halfway underwater it adds a really cool 3D effect to the eyes of the person looking at it very good job!!

I’m super proud of this piece, but I feel that there is just something.. missing. Any and all critique is needed! Thank you! Please click the image for full quality and size. This is my first time painting a mane this long so it is a little rough xD Edited at June 2, 2020 08:21 AM by Markhor Manor

Gosh markhor that is absolutely stunning the only thing I would say to do is maybe add some little stray hairs? Something like that might make the mane and tail not seem like it was just placed on, but other than that it is do beautiful and good job making the mane and tail look good
