I swear I found a couple of threads about what we want to see for stat progression on a weekly basis, but I can't find them now.
What should we be looking for as indicators with stat progression? I know Week 4/8/12 (or 3/6/9 for SD) are important, but can someone clarify what the general guidelines are for P, E, W horses?
Like my starter stallion is up 3 of 6 after 4 sessions. My starter mare (P/P/P) is not up in anything after 4. Would that make him probably a stronger P in those stats, or is that pretty typical? Is she probably a weaker P? An E/E/E wild stallion I picked up is up to 3 bars in 4 sessions, and 4 bars in 4 sessions. Good? Bad? Meh? Promising?

Good W should show 2 bars at week 4. E.g. Dressage SD would be 221112 if very good. Good E should show 2 bars at week 5 ( & maybe some at week 4) Good P should show 2 bars at week 6 (& maybe some at week 5) Good S should show 2 bars at week 7 I'm not sure of the values for A or Sub I hope this helps. Do take into account that the bars will go up much quicker if the rider is has better stats e.g. vast difference of training between starter level 1 training at 10 and an upper first level rider training at 80 or 90. Also if the horse is put into competions their stats will increase faster than an uncompeted horse. So quite a variation around those parameters above. Edited at August 12, 2026 12:35 PM by ZeroZero

This isn't true. Outside of training, only trail rides and clinics will cause the traits to increase.
