I caught a white PPP when the requirement for the quest was a double premium white, so this should have completed. The appaloosa patterns shouldn't matter, right? I've completed White capture quests with appy whites before.

I could be wrong but I know there are a couple quests that won't complete if they say double premium and you caught a triple premium. If I remember correctly this is one of them.

I think Angel is right I'm 80% sure you need PP only not PPP for it count >.> It's sorta frustrating

Got it. I hate this. Same with the "breed a premium X" - should complete if it's premium or better. Makes no sense that I captured a PPP and it can't complete a double premium quest because there's one extra P instead of a lower rating.

Sadly that's part of why I don't quest. I don't have the patience for the sheer specifics.

Especially when rewards are set in stone and sometimes are worth less than the amount sunk into completing the quest, because it was that specific.

I interpreted the specificity as part of the intended challenge of questing. The really specific quests are just harder to do e.g. breed a PPP ChCh horse or capture an SSS bay horse. Or the example above.

There are quests where the rating just needs to be over a certain threshold and this is specified in the wording. For example, capture a Premium + rated horse in Dressage/Cross Country/Showjumping. So it feels consistent to me.

If it helps, you can always save horses for the capture quests and only rate them when you have the quest to complete.
