Thank you Cloud! I'm culling all the poorly rated wildies I kept with the intention of showing, and shifting my PPP/PEPs into my show barn. With PEPs, I've generally been keeping them as SD but might switch them to AD if that won't be a pain for training? I hand enter anyway so shouldn't be too time consuming

I'm late to the party on this, but when starting out, it helps a lot to keep and show horses with similar ratings, whether that's SD Es and Ws or AD PPP/PEP combos. It helps you get a better understanding of the train/show cycle when they all train similarly.

Nov 24, 2025 16:35:31 You entered 772 horses into reg. shows for 265200

I've only started showing this month, and all of my geldings are Lvl 1-2, so it''s quite funny seeing me enter 300+ more horses than you, Opal, for around half the price, lmao. Really can't wait until these boys level up more. xD

Lol actually entered 160... made 160k profit though
Bioshock Manor

I try to enter at least 500 a day. Apparently I only entered 200, but made a good profit

I combined like 4 people's showing ways. Took me a while to get right, now I have no time to show with moving XD

Thank you! I read that when I first started, but I was *totally* clueless then, now I'm just mostly clueless but I think I know enough to follow it. Appreciate it! <3

it is like practicing anything the more you do it the better you get

I found it really useful when I started, when the simplicity or showing still seemed very confusing
Tamarack Mountain

that guide is so complicated lol showing is not that intense

This is a great showing guide that explains when geldings are ready to be shown again, and how the levelling works. :)
Tamarack Mountain
06:32:24 Opal
also get rid of any geldings that level before making profit
Tamarack Mountain
06:31:25 Opal
horses are ready to show when they have bars x 2 of the level they are in
Tamarack Mountain
06:30:29 Opal
Start collecting SD geldings for your manager and hand show your breeders you will start earning enough to expand your barns also then when you hit the weekly show cap you know you have enough horses to earn well
Oakmoss Stud

Sorry to jump on the back of this, if I have youngstock that I want to show eventually, how do I know when they're ready? I usually only show the rest when they're in the money

I'll do as you said! Thanks for the help :)

Even though i've been on the game for a long while, i still struggle with those things lol

if they are in between leveling look at their results in any stat they rate best in and choose the discipline they scored highest in
